Banana & Mixed Fruits Smoothie Bowl by Daniel Davey
Sweet, smooth and delicious, this smoothie bowl is just like a fruity dessert you'll love to eat!
Serves 2|Takes 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
100 ml almond or whole milk
3 Tbsp. Flahavan’s quick oats
2 Tbsp. fat Greek yogurt (if you don’t have whey protein)
100g frozen banana and mixed berries
1 Tbsp. honey
20g pecan nuts
20g fresh berries
1 tbsp. coconut pieces or desiccated coconut
1 tsp honey
Pinch of salt
METHOD:
1. Roast the nuts with a little salt on a tray in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 170 C degrees
2. Blend the frozen fruit, oats, yogurt and milk and pour into a bowl.
3. Top with the roasted nuts, coconut, honey and fresh berries
Top Tip: Why not roast a full packet of the pecan nuts ahead of time and store for convenience in an airtight container, to have ready as a topping or snack?
