Flahavan’s 2024 Annual Organic Oat Growers Conference

Flahavan’s, hosted its annual Organic Oat Growers Conference on November 19th, 2024, at The Horse & Jockey Hotel in County Tipperary. The sold-out event brought together 180 organic farmers, farmers in conversion, and those interested in organic farming from across the country.
Attendees enjoyed an evening of insightful discussions, expert-led presentations a grower panel Q&A, along with a chance to network with their peers and industry professionals.
A great list of speakers included Chairperson of the Organic Strategy Forum; Padraig Brennan, renowned agronomist; John Geraghty, Teagasc organic tillage specialist; Martin Bourke as well as updates from Johnny Flahavan and James Flahavan.
The event concluded with a grower panel discussion and Q&A featuring Eoghan O’Sullivan, Eveline Gill, and Fintan White before a lively networking session where attendees had the chance to connect with one another, share experiences, and seek additional information from Organic Trust , Irish Organic Association National Organic Training Skillnet.
