Flahavan’s named “Greener Planet” Award Winners at “The Foodies” 2022

We’re so delighted to have been named Winner in the “Greener Planet” category of “The Foodies” – the food and drink SME sustainability awards!
The Greener Planet Award recognises SMEs that are committed to reducing their environmental impact. Here at Flahavan’s we self-generate 70% of our energy requirements through wind and water turbines, solar panels and our bio-mass boiler. We’ve also reduced our carbon footprint by 70% in the past decade and continue to invest in ways to minimise our impact on the environment. By the end of 2022, more than 80% of our packaging in the Irish market will be fully recyclable.
It’s such a thrill for our team to be recognised internationally for our efforts 🙂
